Types of power station ?
The power plants have many types and it depending on fuel types ;
The idea of produce electricity from Nuclear power plant is depending on splitting Uranium atoms. The Uranium as a fuel is clean and efficient way to boiling water to produce steam which is used to drive turbine generators .
PWR : Pressurized water reactor ; has a water on its primary cooling / heat transfer circuit and generate steam in the secondary circuit .
BWR : Boiling water reactor ; Makes steam in the primary circuit above the reactor core , Although its under a large pressure .
In the two type use water for coolant to slow neutrons .
